If you don't find your question answered here, give us a call at 888-577-2634
or send us an email with your question.
How much do certificates cost?
Participating manufacturers supply them to laboratories at no charge.
Are the certificates mandated by the ADA or FDA?
No. The IdentAlloy and IdentCeram programs are voluntary and used by dentists, patients,
labs and manufacturers dedicated to assuring that the best, intended material is used for each case.
What is the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council?
The IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting
the use of quality dental materials by verifying the content of those materials for dentists,
patients, labs and others needing that information. The Council's IdentAlloy and IdentCeram
certification programs provide a cost-effective way to track and record dental materials used
in individual dental restorations.
How does a lab become a participant?
The lab simply requests certificates from any participating manufacturer. Most alloy companies
operating in the USA participate in the IdentAlloy program, as does a rapidly growing number of ceramic companies.
I'm a manufacturer and I would like to participate.
How do I become part of the program?
For information on costs, product and product documentation, simply contact the Council's Executive
Director at 888-577-2634 or by sending us an email.
Can I buy alloy products or ceramic materials from the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council?
No. The Council only offers documentation and certification. Contact participating companies directly
for product specs, pricing and purchasing information.
