IdentAlloy Certificates

IdentAlloy certificates have two parts. The lab retains one with its case records. The second is sent with the case to the dentist to document the material used and for filing in the patient's records. Once filed, the IdentAlloy certificate is also useful in supporting insurance claims.

Each alloy in the IdentAlloy program carries an identification symbol noting the specific alloy category as established by the ADA Council on Dental Materials in 1984. These categories reflect differences in composition, as indicated below. Only alloys in the IdentAlloy program are permitted to use these symbols.

IdentAlloy certificates present an additional benefit -- a visible, certified message of added value and due diligence, from manufacturer to lab to dentist to patient, that says you insist on a validated, quality product for your prostheses. With IdentAlloy certificates, you can be sure the quality of the materials you're using is equal to the quality of your dental work.
